You’re invited to attend a special presentation of CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap on November 15th at the Garneau Theatre.

CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap is a documentary that examines the reasons why more girls and people of color are not seeking opportunities in computer science and explores how cultural mindsets, stereotypes, educational and sexism all play roles in this national crisis.

Following the film there will be a Q&A panel discussion with local experts including Dr. Margaret Ann-Armour (WISEST), Bree Emmerson (Ladies Learning Code), Stephanie Remniak (NAIT) and Maureen Engel (University of Alberta).

WHEN: Tuesday, November 15, 2016 (Info Fair 6:30pm – Film 7:00pm)
WHERE: Garneau Theatre
TICKETS: Tickets are available at the door for $10 or online here. EPL’s share of proceeds from ticket sales go to the Stanley A. Milner Library revitalization project.
